My name is Jordan, founder of Lumilights!

As Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz once said, "There's no place like home!"

Being an introvert and homebody, in my childhood I have struggled to make places that I live in comfy. I'd often go on vacation with my family or go to summer camps feeling extremely blue due to the discomfort I felt of being in a new environment.

Now, even as an adult currently in college, I found the transition of living away from home to be extremely difficult. While the prospect of living independently is exciting for some, it is a source of great anxiety for others. I found myself greatly struggling with my living space in order to feel comfy in it.

Eventually, after taking a class on cinematography, I became inspired by the idea of lighting spaces. I quickly got to work re-evaluating my living space and I was finally able to make it cozy After that experience, I decided I was on a mission to help other people make their spaces feel more cozy and homey.

That’s what Lumilights is all about. I hope to help you make your home really feel like home.
